Wanted Dead Or Alive Season 1 Episode 23' title='Wanted Dead Or Alive Season 1 Episode 23' />Season 3, retitled The Walking Dead Season Three and The Walking Dead The Telltale Series A New Frontier, is the third set of episodes for Telltale Gamess The. Josh must bring a man back for murder. He has to outwit the mans nephew and men bent on claiming the bounty. Josh must prove to the nephew that he can be trusted to. Is Glenn Alive on. Fans immediately began formulating conspiracy theories that perhaps it was Nicholas Michael Traynor entrails we saw being yanked across the screen, and TWD after show, Talking Dead, poured more fuel on the fire when it neglected to include Glenn during the episodes weekly In Memoriam segment, and aired a statement from showrunner Scott Gimple that said, In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn, or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story, to help complete the story. So is Glenn dead or aliveWas his apparent death a fake out the likes of which the show has never attempted before Variety spoke to executive producer David Alpert to try and gain some clarity on that, and learn what else is coming up for our remaining survivors in next weeks special 9. See More For. Theres been a dynamic in the show since season one the Rick Shane dilemma and what I love about last nights episode is the fact that, watching Rick in the RV, he was Shane that was not Rick from season one, thats someone whos gone full Bernthal. He wasnt asking questions about who those people were outside his car, he picked up a friggin assault rifle and mowed them down without thinking twice. That Rick didnt exist in season one. And so in some ways, what I see last night as, hes always embraced the kinder, better Rick, the one who believes in everybodys humanity. He has forgiven and embraced and given Nicholas every opportunity in the show to do the right thing, and almost at every point along the way, has paid the price for it. I feel like, regardless of what happened to Glenn, he paid a tremendous price for having been human to Nicholas, and that, to me, from an emotional point of view whether or not Glenn is alive or dead or something else the Glenn that we knew, the one that believed in the better side of humanity, I think is dead. That certainly seems to be one of the central tensions in the series as a whole, but specifically this season how these survivors reconcile the need to survive with the desire to remain human. Will we see other characters struggling with that quandary this season, besides Rick Overall, yes if you look at the conflict between the Alexandrians and our guys, I think its exemplified in that heated argument between Michonne and Heath, like, you dont know what its like out there. And honestly, thinking back to what Sasha went through last season, and seeing what that was, youre thinking, life is pretty cushy in Alexandria you really dont know, and you should be thankful that you dont know. But now that its at your door, you should really be thankful that you have these people with you. Michonne isnt someone that vocalizes her feelings very often, so that scene with Heath had particular weight. She seemed eager to embrace Alexandria last season, but shes also a very practical person, so how is she feeling about their position there at this pointI think Michonne would consider herself a realist. Shes like, no, theres an amount of liquid in this glass, and thats a useful thing for her, so its not that that things are getting better or worse. Theres a place where theres currently protection from zombies and people, and thats useful for her, but I dont think she looks at it and says, yeah, this is the solution forever, and I also dont think she looks at it and says oh this is a beacon for bad behavior. Shes like, this is a great place for me to rest my head right now. Daryl actually disobeyed Rick in favor of going back towards Alexandria in Sundays episode, although Rick doesnt know that yet. How will his shift in priorities affect their dynamic moving forward Whats been great is that Daryl has been the most loyal, almost blindly loyal number two that Rick could ever ask for he basically goes along with what Rick does. Hell disagree, hell voice his disagreement and let Rick know his feelings, but also when Rick lays down the law, Daryls right there stepping up behind. And that dynamic between the two of them has contributed to their success its allowed our group to survive when so many other people havent. And I feel like whats been great about that has been. I was honestly, as a fan, excited that Daryl showed a little bit of initiative. Much has been made of the ideological differences between Morgan and Rick this season, but last week we got to see Morgan and Carols differing approaches play out. Now that they both know what the other is capable of, where do they go from here That scene in 6. Morgans like you always seem like youre ready for something, and she doesnt know what to say, so she goes arent you sweet Its that classic Southern moment of Im going to be a gentlewoman here, but I really want to tell you to go fk yourself I just dont know how to do it and still be civil, so Im just gonna tell you. They looked at each other in that moment, and Morgan knew who she is, and Carol knew that he knew, so there was that moment of okay, well see how this things gonna go. Ultimately, getting back to that ShaneRick dynamic that was evidenced in season one and two, Morgans clearly embraced this humanist approach, and in the attack at Alexandria he really made some decisions that clearly have endangered the group, theres no doubt about it. Those Wolves that attacked Rick, would they have been there had Morgan not let them go Carol certainly wouldnt have let them go, she wouldve straight up murdered them, and not even thought twice about it. I think to some degree Morgans been there and back, so hes going through some of what Rick did, but we havent seen the last of his evolution, for sure. Next weeks 9. 0 minute episode looks set to give us a glimpse into Morgans journey during his time off screen what else can we expect The most important thing is, Morgan is if nothing else incredibly smart. Hes capable, hes confident, hes thoughtful, but hes very, very smart, so I think he understands the lay of the land as good, if not better, than anyone else, and I think he understands the implications of whats just happened. Theres gonna be a fundamental shift in his worldview that comes out of this, but how that works is not a linear thing. This guy has been to nihilism and back, hes explored the known universe of possibilities, but I think hes about to encounter another one. The past two episodes have thinned the Alexandrians out considerably. Now that some of the redshirts are out of the way, is this an opportunity for us to get to know the few who are left standing a little better Yeah, over the course of the season were definitely gonna learn a lot more about the Alexandrians and get to know them. Ultimately some of them are gonna rise to the occasion and become part of the core team, and others wont, and like Sturgess and David and Annie will succumb to the ways of the world. Are you sitting there reading the comments section and cackling maniacally to yourselvesEverybodys just been happy, Ive been getting a lot of emails and messages, people telling me how thankful they are. We think that giving everybody what they want all the time isnt the way to actually give them what they want. I have two children and if I loved them, they would eat cookies for breakfast and cookies for lunch and cookies for dinner, and that wouldnt actually be what theyd want, because they would get stomach aches. You watch The Walking Dead because people you love die So we embrace the outrage and the hostility as just another expression of love. The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p. Monkeys Amanda Schull on the New Season, Giving Birth to the Villain, and 8. Fashion. Syfys 1. Monkeys is in an. The show has already been renewed for a fourth and final season, but season threewhich premieres tonight, May 1. ETis going to air in its entirety over the course of this weekend We talked to star Amanda Schull, who plays Cassandra Railey, about this unusual release and whats next, now that her character is pregnant with the messiah of her greatest enemies. Where is Cassie at the start of this seasonAmanda Schull Cassie is lower than we have ever seen her at the start of season three. She is alone, stranded from any family, carrying the prophet of the people she despises most in the world. Whats even worse is that she now knows that it is her very own child who is the architect of the destruction of the universe something she has been desperately fighting to prevent. It seems like your character has had the most dramatic arc from a skeptical, present day doctor to a hardened warrior in the post apocalypse. Wheres shes going next Schull Cassie is incredibly adaptable. She is able to navigate every time period in which she finds herself, and does it pretty seamlessly I think season three finds Cassie the most at odds with herself. Of all the scenarios and times she has lived, the most terrifying is the one in which she is the mother of the Witness. What does being the mother of the Witness, the leader of the Army of the 1. Monkeys, mean for Cassie Schull She worries the soul of her own flesh and blood is destined to be evil. She is terrified that she created the most evil creature known to man. Beyond the normal time travel action and doom prophecies, the idea of family seems to be at this seasons center. Schull Cassie is without family at the start of the season. She is being held hostage by her enemies with the possibility of never being with family again. I think that leaves her a lot of time to think about who her family has become over the last couple of years and what she will do to protect them. Cassie also spends a lot of this season thinking about all the things she could change with time travel. Can she actually be successful Schull Cassie realizes what is at stake this season from a perspective that she never has had before. She is now a mother. To be more precise, she is the mother of the Witness. That reality causes her do things and make choices that she would never have made before. Even though the events of season three are extremely serious, there are still some great moments of comedy in this season. Do you have a favorite Schull There is a sequence in the eighth episodes between Cassie and Cole that portrays them in a light they dont always get to show. I think in a very short amount of time we get to see the playfulness and love between the two of them amidst all the high stakes drama in which they are submerged. Another fun time was the. From the moment we all saw each other in our costumes it was a nonstop laugh fest. How do you think whole season being released over three days will change the viewing experience Schull Audiences are accustomed to binge watching television now. We like the immediacy of a whole season released in one day to be able to watch at our leisure. I think that our show in particular is very binge friendly. Our plots and twists and cliffhangers will be easily carried from one episode to the next with less downtime than the standard seven days. How does the knowledge youre heading into the final season affect the energy of the show And what can you say about where season four picks up from season three Schull I have lived every moment and every episode as if it were the last one. The fact is that you never truly know when your last opportunity will be to live in the skin of these amazing characters through these fantastic stories. I think having this be the final season has really encouraged the writers to go for broke, stretching their imaginations and ambitions for the show. What was it like to have Back to the Futures Christopher Lloyd on the set of your time travel show Schull Everyone was very excited to have Christopher on the show. I was lucky enough to get a couple of scenes with him, and he was absolutely fantastic.
